Wilkins' spirit has become malevolent and seeks to torment the Hodgson family, particularly Janet, whom he possesses

The Warrens attempt to communicate with Wilkins' spirit to understand his motivations and seek a way to stop him. They also uncover the tragic history of the Hodgson family and the trauma that has left them vulnerable to supernatural forces.

Meanwhile, Lorraine is haunted by visions of a demonic nun, who warns her of the dangers that lie ahead. The nun's presence becomes increasingly ominous as the investigation progresses, leading Lorraine to fear for her own safety and the safety of her family. In a climactic showdown, the Warrens confront the demonic presence in the Hodgson home, risking their lives to save Janet and her family from the malevolent spirits.
