What happened Siccin ( Sijjin) 7
Siccin 7 opens with a once-respected doctor, Kemal, who enters an unsafe deal with the mafia of panhandling children. The dirty plan goes wrong, so Kemal runs away from his profession with his family. The place they come for refuge is his uncle's old mansion, a vast and eerie estate that sprawls, promising to bring a new beginning but fostering dark secrets. He has been married to Aylin for 20 years, and they have a 7-year-old daughter, Rüya. They live with his old mother, Lale, who is suffering from Alzheimer's. Rüya is bright and curious, with the energy of battling against some undefined, malignant illness that the family is trying to hide from the burden of outside views. Soon, rather than a haven, the mansion becomes a source of unease because of its creaking floors and shadowy corners.
As soon as the family steps into the mansion, strange and eerie things start to take place. Lale starts witnessing apparitions of ghosts, and in her moments of lucidity, she hears voices and whispers that apparently nobody else hears. Her condition creates difficulty within the family to judge if that happens for real at this ruin of her ominous, decaying mind. But soon, it becomes evident that something is sinister. One night, she finds an old, belated chest full of creepy trinkets up in the attic, along with a diary belonging to a lady called Hazal. The contents of that diary tell a melancholic love story, as Rüya unfolds the secrets of the diary and in between, it is revealed that there took place some ominous, house-bound, rituals that lead to horrifying visions and the rest. Kemal cannot affords to let this happen to his family and so he pays a visit to a local priest known for his supernatural knowledge. The priest can describe the mansion as being under a curse because of dark rituals performed in the past by Hazal and her boyfriend, Cemal. The two are not resting in peace, and their unending agony is the cause of all the disturbances. He needs to understand how Hazal died and perform the cleaning ritual to break the curse.
A mysterious woman named Meral sneaks into the mansion under the circumstances of the menacing hauntings. She hails from a sinister plan of her own and has Kemal joining a ritual dedicated to the Black Moon. This ritual is to take place on the night when a certain cosmic balance could unleash a dark force that would be irrevocably harmful to him and his family. The presence of Meral adds yet another level of danger when she manipulates the supernatural forces to work for her. The history in this mansion digs its darkness while denying secrets that shock Kemal. He has learned that the death of Hazal was not an accident but a failed dark ritual conducted by Cemal. This ritual had bound their spirits to the earthly realm and was the cause of the hauntings that now torment his family. The more Kemal learns, the more he discovers the full extent of the malevolent forces at work.
As the supernatural attacks escalate to their peak, so does the climax of the film. The ghosts of Hazal and Cemal grow in strength, and Rüya's life is in grave danger. Kemal, having been assisted by the cleric, was getting ready to perform the purification ritual. The need for the purification ritual to project the depth of insight of the torment Hazal has been undergoing and the sincere act of penitence to the spirits to clamor their wrath is brought about. The process shows Kemal going through the lashing pains of spirits, experiencing how Hazal suffered and the evil rituals that Cemal had enacted on her. The spirits are at first resistant but finally give in to Kemal's sincere repentance and the cleric's powerful prayers. The reverend launches a high-powered ritual that culminates in a dramatic confrontation as Kemal erupts to break the curse with all his might. The together-freed spirits of Hazal and Cemal make the hauntings cease, and the film ends with the now possibly reconciled family endeavoring to pick up the pieces of their lives. While this supernatural torment has been lifted, the memories remain and prove psychological scars. Kemal is glad that the spirit of Hazal is resting peacefully and that the family can now look ahead to a future not tainted by the shadows of the past.
