Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F opens with Axel Foley- an old hand amongst police officers in Detroit whose elaborating on his would-be trip to wealthy Beverly Hills.… Axel's life takes a turn when his old friend Billy Rosewood telephones him and is in distress. Currently, Billy is an investigator with his license. He calls on him and calls upon him and informs him that her daughter, Jane Saunders in Los Angeles wants to reach him as soon as possible. Enriquez represents Jane, who has been framed as the killer of an undercover officer, and his involvement now indeed puts Jane's life at risk.
However, with his friend Deputy Chief Jeffrey Friedman watching over his back, Axel is right in the midst of a highly dangerous pursuit against a group of burglars who have entered into the locker room of the Detroit Red Wings hockey team. The course of the pursuit results in the destruction of part of the city and nearly gets Jeffrey retired in order to save him from severe punishment. And after the retirement of Jeffrey and a dicey call by Billy, the latter is forced to first get in touch with Jane, and then travel to Beverly Hills. In Beverly Hills, Axel is informed by the police that Billy had been captured by a dangerous Cartel group in connection with the murder case. Here Axel with the cooperation of Jean's former lover Bobby Abbott, a detective, takes charge of his team along with his two closest friends Jon Taggart and Sege to go into action about the murder plot against Jean. It is in this time where it leads to the team's entry into the hazardous life of the cartel, full of obstacles and deeply immersed in the nexus of corruption and treachery.
His team digs deeper and find out that behind it all is a dark secret: high officials and power brokers are involved with a powerful cartel. Things heat up from the find when Axel is convinced that the cartel is out to eliminate whatever stands in the way of its business, including Jane. Turned into an intense grand chase, an ordeal that is packed with a series of close shaves through acid tests of willpower and friendship. It is where the climax really catches up with the film, in a way that most entirely concluded, with Axel and his team coming to stand face-to-face with the cartel and meeting in an intense standoff. It is for Axel himself to outwit these driven enemies, which must have even included a more sinister force within the cartel, to save the life of his daughter, Jane. The climax is power-packed, well-mixed in a mix of action and suspense, leading finally to the much-thrilling end with justice prevailing.
With Billy, Jane leaves everything a little colder, and Axel redressed some of his oldest debts; also, the team rescues Billy, and his vocal cords are working again. Finally, Axel sits reflectively on the balcony, remembering family and the bond that holds everyone close to him and, most importantly, a better tomorrow full of hope and new beginnings.
