The Story of Princess Snow White

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is a timeless cinematic treasure released in 1937 that entertains everybody with its eternal appeal and musicals. This was an idea born through the hands of directors like David Hand, Larry Morey, Wilfred Jackson, Ben Sharpsteen, William Cottrell, and Perce Pearce. Snow White is the princess who is compelled to run out of her house because of her stepmother-the cruel queen-who has designed her death. She flees into the forest, where she takes refuge in a cottage belonging to seven imperfectly perfect little dwarfs: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. These are her rescuers and immediate close friends. With such an impressive 7.6/10 on IMDb, an impressive 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, and favorable 96% on Metacritic, the movie has indeed stood the test of time. Its continued popularity is even evidenced by the fact that 82% of Google users love this classic. From RKO Pictures, distributed and adapted from Jacob Grimm, Wilhelm Grimm, Webb Smith, Ted Sears, Merrill De Maris, Earl Hurd, Otto Englander, and Dick Rickard, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is still one of those classics which has continued to mesmerize people with its magical tale and ever-loved characters since its release date, December 21, 1937.

In a quaint kingdom, an evil Queen has an obsession with her own beauty, which creates a nasty chain of events. A magical mirror shows her that her stepdaughter, Snow White, surpasses her in beauty. So consumed with envy, the evil Queen asks the Huntsman to kill Snow White, which, unable to do so, advises her to flee into the enchanted forest. While in the woods, Snow White stumbles upon a little cottage that belongs to seven friendly dwarfs-Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey-who guard and befriend her. The evil Queen turns herself into an evil hag and brews a poisonous apple in order to kill Snow White.

The dwarfs lay Snow White in a deathlike sleep and place her in a glass case. In the end, it is a bold Prince, beguiled by Snow White's beauty, who performs the magic that breaks the spell-a true love's kiss. Snow White wakes up and then is taken to the castle with the Prince. When this queen finally finds out that Snow White has been revived, she attends the wedding in disguise, but justice shall be done. The queen is dead, and Snow White and the Prince are to celebrate their love. The two stayed and lived happily ever after in this tale packed full of magic, great friendships, and true love.
